Out on a hike in Western Massachusetts, I had a camera with me & just started to learn the rules about photography.
I read that "snow" should be "over-exposed" and that "shadows" should be "under-exposed" if you are looking for a silhouette effect. What do I do here I thought? Years later I found out the answer ... I regretted chopping down those trees....
