What a nice place! I like the curved plow lines. It's interesting to see farm fields follow hills like this. And there's that bare tree look we'll all be seeing more of soon enough!
Simply and beautiful! Compliments.
Thank you, Ryan and Giulio. I also took photos centering in on the curved lines in the field, but I "needed" that sky to complete the picture.
YOu right Marilyn, that sky adds somethign to teh picture. Like the rain is coming...to complete the farmers work!
Alex, you have a good eye! I took the picture late yesterday afternoon, and last night and today it rained!
A little "mélancolique"... the summer is finished, the grey clouds arrive, the trees lost their sheets and the cold arrives... Most beautiful photo, very very expressive.
Thanks, Jean: "mélancolique" is a good description for the shot and for many scenes this season.
At least you have the rain...I know people don't like rain, but we are going through a hard period in Portugal, if it won't rain soon!
We are in the middle of November, we still ahve sunny warm days (arround 20ºC +), no rain, it looks like we are in the Fires Season (Last week we had the day with more fires of the year).
We will see what winter reserves to us in here, so far we didn't get to the autumn, yet!
We also needed the rain that we received today. The water level in this pond is very low, and the "wetland" across the road from it is completely dry. (That was what my husband went out to measure, and my camera and I went with him. He is retired now, but taught water resource engineering in the university here.)
Thank you, Bruce. There is a wonderful softness to the light that time of day. Marilyn
Thanks, Misa. I wish I could return to those days! It's cold and dreary now, with not enough snow to be pretty. Greetings, Marilyn
Very nice picture Marilyn and a very good example of what Ontario looks like in November!
Regards from Toulouse, France,
Thanks, Justin. It's good to remember this under grey December skies. We have snow, so Ontario might be beautiful--if only the sun would shine again!
