Bangkok is infiltrated with small rivers that go to sea or connect and become larger going outside and in from around Thailand.

Frequent use of these waters allows for quicker commutes away from the stifling traffic. New systems have evolved recently: the Elevated Rails & Subway(very well run), but the river boats are my favorite in the creative use of this network - be sure to take a ride when visiting Bangkok.
