On June 15th a local pointed out a road just behind the airport and suggested it would be a place where we could get a picture of Dutch Harbor. We went up later during the evening as a fog bank was moving across the mountain in the distance. I pointed the camera southwest from our location on Mount Ballyhoo and got this picture with the airport in the foreground, Dutch Harbor beyond the airport, and Unalaska beyond showing on the shore. Above the fog the blue sky on the evening before we left is still visible. We put about 125 miles on our rental vehicle over the four days we were in the area. On the far left, beyond Summer Bay, is where some of our other pictures from Summer Bay Road were taken.
