Peter, I have to recollect from memory, (it was in 2005 that we were there), but we were at the Pont du Diable and think we walked to the left, while walking upward towards the old tower. So the position on the map maybe has to be corrected and must be on the upper part of the 'Rue du Pont Vieux'. But it could also have been the 'Rue du Chateau' that we actually walked.

I don't know if you are living in the neigbourhood of Olargues. If so, maybe you can take a picture of the same spot and put it on the map as a reference for me?

Erik, the position of your pic is exact, within a couple of metres. It is the map which is wrong. Your memory is spot-on, you did climb up left from the Pont du Diable using Rue du Pont Vieux. This street joins Rue du Mazel not as shown on the Google map. You were standing at the point where the 'L' in 'Mazel' is. It is difficult to describe a map verbally. I could send you a more accurate map if you wish. I am trying to get this corrected by TeleAtlas but the possibilities for correcting wholesale map errors using their simplistic system are virtually non-existent, it seems to me. Best wishes, Peter
