Beautiful scenery Ian. Is this lagoon connected with the sea? Greetings Berend

Greetings Berend,

These islands are raised coral reefs and so are full of caves and surrounded by spectacular cliffs. This view to the SW is of the oceanic side, and these sheltered waterways lead out to the open Pacific or into Vava'u's Port of Refuge. The Ano Lagoon is freshwater, and I will be uploading some images of Ano Lagoon.

Warm regards,

Ian

The reason I always visit your gallery is not only for beautiful photos but also for your very delicately written replies to all the visitors.
