Was it built for pleasure or commerce? and is the fishing good at the end of the jetty?

jim the jetty is kind of suffering like you say it was built for commerce transporting logs out to the ships. if you look in the fore ground you will see some piles they are the old start till it was burnt down hence you see on the map there is a bend at the start. fishing 100% not allowed there is a fish viewing area at the end where you go under water and look out windows at tropical fish i have photos but have never posted as i know google earth would not post. there is a train track on the jetty but its fallen into dis-repair you now have to walk out. the fish viewing is keeping the jetty going and up keep. you will see another photo of my parents walking along the jetty to get to the end.
