Mekong Riverside views! White sand beaches galore!

On Mekong River Slow boat Journey.
The slowly unfolding scenery, primitive bamboo village houses, sand bars, buffalos, big jagged rocks and watching the unhurried life on the banks of the river, the time to think, have a nap, talk to fellow travelers - is what it's all about.
The wonderful white fine sandy beaches you are floating by, but no chance to stop and enjoy them. These beaches are inaccessible, unless you hire a private boat.
Most parts of the river the water just goes too fast, it is way too dangerous to swim, even if you are an excellent swimmer!! Lots of kids drown every year!
