Located at the top of the northern mountain
Serguis (Sarkis) & Bacchus were Syrian soldiers in the Roman army.
They were executed for their Christian beliefs.
This monastery was built in the 4th century on the remains of a pagan temple.
It contains icons dating back to the 13th century & one of the first Christian altars.
