This pictures shows the power supply box on Mellum. Located in the eastern part of the diked area, it doesn't provides not only the ranger station with electricity but also some nearby lighthouses. The box is maintained by the "Wasser- und Schiffahrtsamt" (waterway & shipping department) Wilhelmshaven.
