Thank~you, Ľudo for the appreciation.
This was the first thing that caught my eye!!
Great shot to share. What is the story behind this? Was it serious?
The most I've ever seen is a wagon drop a pair of wheels over some points.
Thanks for your interest and rekindling mine. i do not recall any information on this incident. Just a railfan who heard of a derailment in town. i now reside 3 hours drive from Chilliwack. i googled to no avail on the derailment... but did find that both the engines CN5247 (built1975) & CN5106 were still active :)
best wishes from Kelowna
Very Beautiful-Thank you-عکس زیبا و جالبی است-متشکرم
I loved the U tube video on the building of Gunner and the music :) Here it looks like there might be a bit more scrap metal to be recycled :)
Oh, wow, Nick. i am most honoured that you liked it. Thank~you muchly :)
The engines here were repaired but the gondolas do look a little rough.
best wishes, stacy
Hi Stacy Yep deffiantly a ooopsie! or as they say over here Got it wrong again dad.Looks like a big derailment wich must cause all sorts of problems with other trains running.A like Here Stacy.Best wishes Alan
"Got IT wrong again, Dad." :) i'll have to remember that one Alan... but hope to seldom need it. And yes a l'll problematic, being the main Canadian National East-West line. Though there is an amicable sharing agreement between the two national lines (CN&CP). i understand that where the two lines run parallel (such as one on each bank of the Fraser river) one side will do all East or West traffic for both Carriers.
thanks for your thoughts, best wishes in return from Kelowna
