"Take Way" Menu, Prix Fixe (see also first comment)

Uniform pricing was common in Laos. Sandwich (or sometimes Sand witch or Sentwich) was 10 000 Kip anywhere in this town. ($1)

Notice on the upper menu Fried noole BEEE, I did not try this selection.

The menu in restaurants often list Buffalo as a meat choice. I think it compares in texture and taste to a Moose. **Very tough!! One had a bird on menu in addition to chicken!!

I saw it in the morning market, it was a small barbecued bird. Smaller then a pigeon.

P.S. This year - 2012, was the first time I was eating moose. It was a very tender meat, no comparison to Lao buffalo....
