Hi Billy, thank you very much for your nice comment on my picture. Sometimes you just have to take a specific photo. Usually I put a frame around my pictures but in that case I had no idea. Thank you.

Wow, it's great! I especially like the curved shadow on the bottom pipe. The length-wise shadows on each pipe have a wonderful soft transition. I agree with John, simple and effective.

Hi John, thank you for your comment on this picture. As you can see the sky is black because I wanted to get a bigger contrast to the pipes. I oversaturated the blue sky in the original photo and transformed it on the red channel as a B/W. But the grey pipes remained the same. And I didn’t made a frame. It made no sense.

Hi Ryan, thank you for your comment. I know this station for all the years now but that day I saw them differently and I had to take this photo in that way and this photo slept in one of my directorys. It took a long time working the shadows out at my computer because at one time they had been to strong and vice versa.

Thank you both John and Ryan for your kind comments. I am glad you like it. If you are interested in the system of this railway you can click here.

Great picture, Carsten! Architecture brought back to the essential: line, form and shape. Well done. You have an 'eye' for that. I gave it a star.

Greetings, Erik

Hi Christophe, it is in fact amazing. My jar is popping down. I didn't expect this. Maybe you want to join a project that is not related to the forum but it is fun. Here is the link to the page and here is the link to the instructions. It is project where somebody picks up the colour or the subject from the person before but only one can do it because he/she has to log in.

Sehr cooles Detail! Super!

Hallo Sonny, vielen Dank. Mir ist kei Rahmen eingefallen. Ich setze eigentlich immer einen. Meistens jedenfalls. Gerade bei den s/w Bildern, da ich auch weißen Himmel verwende. Ich finde manchmal diese fast ins surreale gehenden Himmel zu viel. (immer volles Programm auf den Rotkanal)
