Thank You! Low Countries (specially BE and NL) are leaders on this life style! I see big popularity there are because area is very flat, without high hills nor deep walleys. This countries are very populated too! :(
Time ago I read in LonelyPlanet bluelists from visitors comments: - many visitors said (specially from countries where bicycles are not such popular), they get surprised by following - how peoples in Netherlands feel free to use bicycles everywhere! They shopping, go party, use mobiles and CD players when drive, go to job and back, carry on bicycles lot of big size things and etc.! :)
But why not? I do not think than sitting in heated car in smoggy traffic jam are much better than fresh cold wind blows in face! :D
