Thirst House - looking towards entrance from inside

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Thirst House is a natural limestone cave. It’s been suggested that its name may be a corruption of Hob Hurst’s House, Hob Hurst being the name of a woodland spirit which appears in other natural formations in the area, such as Hob’s House/Hob Hurst House in Monsal Dale.
