Nicely composed and it gives scale, but it wouldn't help me pick you out of a crowd. Cheers, Marilyn
Aaaaaaaaaaargh I was getting so excited when I saw that thumbnail but now I see our towering Ryan is still not quite visible! :(
Great picture none-the-less and boy you sure have a lot of rock down there!!! I really like seeing the lacy green leaves softening the rocks and framing your shadow!
I like this, and I like the rocks especially. Is it some kind of vertical shale? Cool idea with the shadow, it really worked out well.
Hello Marilyn, Nicolas, Pam, and Nawitka. Thanks for visiting!
Marilyn, I guess it would have to be a sparse crowd in a bright sunlight with lots of shadows to examine!
Nicolas, I don't think the mirror ever answered that question the right way!
Sorry Pam! :)
Nawitka, these are limestone outcroppings on some very steep bluffs. The flood plain is 250 feet below.
Nicely composed shot I like the whispy shadows of the leaves around your own shadow.
Maybe next time your shadow will take the picture of you...;D
Nice and original Ryan!...
See you soon.
Thanks Leila. Yes, there are many leafy bushes and other plants growing all over these rocks. :)
Excellent shadow portrait, Ryan. I like the shadows at top and bottom of the image, they ground the shiny rock surfaces.
Thanks Vicki. Yes, it's a very harsh sun, isn't it? I like the sharpness of the shadows, but I wish they had turned out gentler somehow.
