Part of what interests me is the idea that there is always more to explore, little things that are hid out of the way. You find a great deal of that in Seattle.

There is a real premium on land, and this is what drives skyscrapers higher and higher, trying to make the most efficient use of space possible. By the same token, what might be simply a parking lot becomes several floors of parking, then a parking building with a park on it. Multiple uses for the "same space." Things that you wouldn't see if you weren't looking at things from different perspectives.
