I've got no idea why this picture attracts dozens of views every day.

©polytropos on December 19, 2011

Well, when there is once a certain amount of views, the pic will be seen in GE from a higher level and even more people click on it then. Then it starts a process of making itself independent.
Older pics in my gallery have 50 clicks in GE a day, and most of them are not really spectacular ones.

Norrel on December 19, 2011

I can understand that. What I don't understand is why this picture got so many views in the first days. This one attracted 1000 views in the first two weeks.

Hm, sometimes it's an attractive title which will be searched very often by Google. But here I'm not sure about that ;)
And sometimes it's only the funny comments who are watched by many people and they want to know how it's going on.

LOL! That's it! Lots of people are searching on Google for 'adifferentkettleoffishaltogether', and are directed to this picture!

Whatever the reason is, this is going to be one of my most succesful pictures on Panoramio.

Actually anything said in these comments can come up in a google search but this isn't the case in this picture as that would show in the photo stats as an external link.

Check out the title of this picture of a boat then check the photo stats of it and the links to the photo if you search for the words in the tittle.

Titles sure CAN up viewcounts. Google 'YS Panoramio' for a laugh!

Norrel on December 20, 2011
