Hello Menno de Jong - I have a rather large backyard and try to capture the out of the ordinary when it occurs . I prefer vertical composition over horizontal ( landscape ) because proper exposure and depth of field create better photos ( more true to the eye ) !

That's one brave little tree you got there Waldo! Course unlike you I guess it has no real choice but to take whatever comes it's way.

And just wondering about Menno's comment, can you tell if a pic is portrait cropped from landscape rather than just taken that way to begin with?

The Skunk Tree is a survivor Guy - this is a vertical image taken 2 minutes after this one if you check the EXIF data it becomes obvious . You have taught me well somephotoMasterinmasset !
