It was once a blast furnace for the McIntyre Mining operations from the 1800's, when iron ore was being mined. It is currently under restoration.

The old blast furnace is being restored. I was going through some of my older photographs and I found one of this blast furnace...it looked so different 10 years ago. I should scan the picture and get it on Panoramio.
