Greetings from Germany. Florian
i am always having a little tears while watching these pics because i think mine look pretty bad against these. Yours are just like WHOAAA!! I am just blasted. In the same time i was wondering how do you do, from the grey foggy tree to the high colored house to have such a nice glowy effect. Are you using photoshop or very special way of taking your pictures ? It look almost like virtual world. I'm just amaze i wanna learn.
Thanks Arthur, I'm honored :D. I like your picture "Foggy place". You are right though. I do use a special way to take my shots. It's called hdr. You can either let me bore you, or you can try google or there are some interesting postes in the Forum. Anyway, here is my info:
The concept of H.D.R. photography is fairly simple. It starts with a photographer harvesting every bit of difference in brightness by taking several different photos of the same scene, with large exposure differences between them. Software then sorts through the resulting images, which range from underexposed views that are nearly black to washed-out overexposures, to calculate the full dynamic range of the view. Using that vast amount of data, it then constructs a single, high dynamic range photo. and A link if you want more infos http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/03/technology/03basics.html?_r=1&ex=1154750400&en=112b21c6d06bf538&ei=5087%0A&oref=slogin
If you are considering giving hdr a try, you should use qtpfsgui. It's completly free and a nice software to start with. I used qtpfsgui on some of my pictures (the older ones), even though after a while, when you know you like to make hdr's, I'd avise you to swich to a different software. i hope I helped :D
