Hi Lynn, Yes, it was amazing. The old whaling stations at Stromness and Grytviken are a bit of a mess but it all adds to the interesting history of the place. Looks like South Georgia is one of the few places you haven't been; you sure seem to be well travelled. As for myself, I did most of my travelling in the British Royal Navy and I feel priviledged to have visited Antarctica which is so beautiful. Thank you for posting your photos.
