A pumpkintree! Must be a rare species, Bitsy. Endemic to Massachusetts, I suppose.

Can't wait. I want a pumpkintree too ;)

Warmest wishes, Liam ;)

Good for beer.

Surely not a tree but a twisted creeper? Lots of pumpkin pie - Yum!

Bits-n-Pieces on October 9, 2011

Very very rare, Norrel!

You can have one, but you'll have to build your own, Liam ;)

Thanks Tery!

who - you think everything is good for beer ;)

Hi M - you can maybe discover how they grow it by enlarging the photo. This farm has many unusual growing techniques!

Hi Bitsy I am sitting here in amazement, pumpkins usually grown on the ground over here, I cant believe they grow on a tree, surely they must fall off with the weight. :-)

Bits-n-Pieces on October 22, 2011

Just be sure you're not standing under one when it fully ripens and falls, Dianne! :D

Thanks Julie, but along with many others ( such as Nawitka, whose photo you have also copy-pasted your message to) I don't join 'groups', as I don't see much point to them. Tags serve the same function.
