As 3D as this appears, it is a remarkable painting painted straight on to the gallery wall. As in the previous photo, I have watched people peering into it, or leaning to see into the throat of the vortex. At first it does not appear to be on the gallery wall but extending out of it. I think it was called "Vortex" and I didn't record the artist's name. Sorry artist. Sorry interested folk.
