If we'd had a modern digital camera Oh the shots we could have taken,
I was very democratic once one had his chip I wouldn't let him have another sharing them around fairly.
That's a very nice capture.
Inessa Credit to my old buddie Richard for the shot. I was the director and the actor here!
Very cool picture
This would be one of my patronus charm memories.
It was a perfect day clear bright sunshine with stiff wind blowing in from the Tasman Sea. We were sat on the grass looking out sea eating pie and chips. When the gulls started to gather around us. I tossed a chip into the air and it was snatched from the air and consumed before it had travelled 1 Meter. I then held a chip aloft in my fingers and gull drifted along the breeze and gentley plucked from my hand. It was then I told Richard to fetch my camera. The rest is history and this amazing shot.
Great shot! Cheers
I hope that junkfood wasn't anything like McDonalds. By feeding any animal McDonalds food, you would make them sick all day, then throw up, and then they would die. True animal cruelty
Daniel Fret not, just good old potatoe chips and crispy batter with traces of fish. They are after all Seagulls and will eat some really revolting things. Like for example, a dead whale I once came across on a deserted beach in New Zealand. The stench was so thick you could feel it as well as smell and I hate to say taste it. But the gulls and sea birds were all over the carcass in their hundreds. A week later there was nothing but bleaching bones.
A very alive shot.
Very nice pictures with sea gulls Peter!
Silver Gulls (Larus novaehollandiae).
