Hello A good photo but it was taken nowhere near to Harlech, which is some 10 miles away. Regards

Hello, tobyjug. The truth is that I do not remember the exact position of the photo. Can you suggest your exact place to me? Thank you very much.

Hello Pedro. Using Google Earth, I think that you were standing, or perhaps sitting (?!) at 5256' 15.08" N 400' 13.58" W The house that you photographed is at 5256' 31.82" N 400' 47.95" W. It is close to the mansion Tan-y-Bwlch, the former home of the owner of a slate mine in Blaenau Ffestiniog. I cannot remember the name of your subject house (I'm not in Wales at the moment), but I will make enquiries for you. You could retitle your picture "Tan-y-Bwlch" for the time being, which would be more accurate than the existing. I have seen more of your pictures now and am in admiration of your talent. Best wishes, Peter

Thank you very much for your extensive and detailed information about the location of the photo. It is a magnificent work which instructions I have continued and believe, and I have placed the photo in his exact place. Also I have changed the title, as you were saying to me. I am grateful to you also that you praise my humble talent as photographer, though I will say to you that the real merit is only of the beauty of the landscape in Wales. A beautiful and personal landscape that inspires love in any visitor.
With my sincere gratefulness. Pedro (namesake of Peter in Spain)

Hello Pedro, I have made enquiries and find that the name of the house in your picture is Brynmawr - bryn means 'hill' and mawr means 'big'. I'm sorry that I cannot translate these words into Spanish. The house is near to the village of Maentwrog, as you will already know. Please keep taking these interesting pictures ! Best wishes, Peter

Hello Pedro, I'm pleased to be able to help you with just one of your many excellent pictures. There is just one small point which remains . . . Bwlch is spelled BWLCH - strange though that may seem, a word without a vowel in it ! Again, my very best wishes to you. Buenos noces, Peter.

Hello again, Peter. Already I have changed the letters. In the Spanish language a word is impossible without vowels, for very short that is. We would stifle us, sure. I'll have to try. As all the world knows: "Yes, we can". "Buenas noches", Pedro.

Bwlch - w is a Welsh vowel, Peter.
