Hilbre Island, Summer 2011

looking North West towards Hoylake and Liverpool. You see here a large proportion of this Islands dwellings. A nightmare for city dwellers looking for the high-life, paradise for you and I.

It is nice, Herb, but no comparison! Best wishes, Clive

I agree with you Clive but this can be left for my colour addicts! Cheers, Herb on October 13, 2011

HI HERB. This photo makes me think of the day we walked over the sands to Hilbre. A walk with a differance. Nice picture. It looks as if the tide has only just gone out. All the best John.

Herb Riddle on October 13, 2011

Hi John, happy you like another of my pictures. The tide had gone out about two hours before I took this snap. You are in the minority a little here with this one, as most of my viewers prefer my monochrome version (about 10 pictures earlier).

Cheers, Herb

Herb you know paradise for you and me(photos) and Clara who would sleep the day away. we both could do with the rest in truth. has the look of the outer Hebrides perfect shot apart from the road.steve

Herb Riddle on November 5, 2011

Hi Steve, nice to hear from you again. This photo goes hand in hand with its monochrome cousin 10 shots previous. At the time, I thought the curved track led ones eye to the subject but I kind of agree with you now.

Cheers, Herb
