6916 x 2382, 360 x 113 degrees, originally 45 photos taken 2011-10-08 at 12:20-26 in Pioneer Square. The statue in front is that of Chief Seattle from which the city got its name. This is a Mercator Equatorial Cylindrical projection from the center of the sphere through the point being mapped then through the point on the cylinder that the point on the sphere is being mapped to. Perhaps the least distorting of projections for a circular panorama, it nevertheless is unable to map the North and South poles of the field of view except to infinity.
