why is this village there? what do they do there? why so many structures?
Hi there JBT Hemilker! The village has been there for a long time. Hunting and fishing and making carvings make up most of the activities and jobs. The Inuit go back many years and were basically Nomads of the north. Now they are settled to various locations. A lot of employment is now in the diamond, gold, iron ore and other minerals that are currently being explored or in production. The arctic has revealed great wealth in the last 10 years that no one knew about.
