These young men were the first to land on Omaha beach on D Day.

I gather this is this Bedford Boys in their entirety. I have scanned photos of some of A company plus photos of their graves at Colleville and the entries on the Wall of the Missing. are they of any use to you if I post them?

Hi Mike. Do you have a larger version of this photo? In response to your latest posting, I think it would be interesting to see individual photos of the soldiers and their graves.

Hi Tim

There's a museum behind Omaha beach where they have photographs of some of these young men in much greater detail. They're not happy about anyone taking photographs of them, but...! If you post me your e-mail address I can forward some direct to you!mine is mike@ursandmike.karoo.co.uk I'd also direct you to a book - "The Bedford Boys" by Alex Kershaw, published by Pocket Books, ISBN O-7434-7791-X I guess you have seen through the carnage and feel the need for the humanity behind all this - the book's worth a read and has some good photos. I also have photos of specific graves and parts of the wall of the missing relevant to some of these young men. Their graves make it all the more poignant.
