David a great use of the light coloured building, even the stones on the jetty are nicely coloured as well. hope all is well with you. steve
Very good composition David, Greetings from Bulgaria
Beautiful light and an interesting view :-) Kind Regards, Jürgen;)
wow! Impressive industrial structure! looks like it's somehow connected with catchering.. Am I right? ;)
Dmitriy. Many thanks for your comments and question. Firstly the building in the front with the blue tank on its stand is a fish processing place where they sometimes process fish caught down in the Southern Ocean down towards the South Poll. The other large building behind is a Grain Terminal called C.B.H. which exports grain through the Port of Albany(http://www.albanyport.com.au/index.htm). I hope you read in that site as it will tell you much about this port etc.
Juergen thanks very much.
Mariyana pleased you enjoyed it.
Steve yes, the colours of the sun setting were very good that evening.
Kind REgards, David
Ps. I forgot how to make links, as its been a while since I have been on here
it's like this ;)) e.g. [port of Albany] (link) there's no space between the link and the title)
thanks for the link, David! Great to see first Australian port!
Privet Dmitriy. Many thanks for showing me how to do it!! Its very kind of of you dear friend. Is it like this.
Kindest Regards, David. Western Australia
It wasn't the first port in Australia, but first port in Western Australia Dmitriy. We get a number of these ships visit every year now. A huge revenue boost to the City of Albany. When I say city, its only a very small city. Not like citys where you come from Dmitriy!!! :-)
You may find this interesting also.
Kindest Regards, David.
