I sometimes wait years for a reply to a visit :)))) YSL in the meantime :))

Thank you dear Jac & Willy. It is interesting that the Scots from of 'The Old Church', The Auld Kirk' is quite similar to the Dutch - De Oude Kerk.

The Dutch helped to construct sea walls in this area of Scotland :))

Many thanks Haggs. The East Neuk o' Fife is a fascinating and historical area, and well worth a visit - if you can tear yourself away from The highlands ;)

What a beautiful landscape! I would like to be there, go to walk and photograph everything :)) L and hugs :)

Many thanks dear Joli. This a very petty and historical part of east Scotland, and we were lucky with the weather :))

Hugs, Amelia

How could you accuse me of being late with replies dear Nick? I sit at my computer day in and day out, never leaving the house, just to keep up to date. In fact, I'm surprised I have any photos to post ;)

You may just see the windmill in the background here! The coast takes a battering, but your Y* goes a long way to upkeep the sea walls.

Dear Maggie, you would both love this area, the little fishing villages are so pretty. Much of the fishing industry is in decline now, so the area relies on tourism :))

Hugs, Amelia

A bonnie picture Amelia - glad to see you've been back up this way again

Thanks Neil. We had 2 nights in Edinburgh with the family, and 3 nights near St.Andrews. It was good to explore my old haunts again as well as visit the East Neuk o' Fife. We haven't been there for a bit :))

Many apologies for this late reply Gabrielle. I am delighted that you paid a visit to this little church in Scotland :))

Warm greetings, Amelia
