Yes, I use sometimes HDR (have a look to my tag .hdr)
But I use it only when it is really necessary, and produce good and rather natural results.
In this particular case, I do not think that it is necessary, as there are no overburned area, and still details in the shadows. In adition to this, there are so many people here that you have always somebody moving while you take the multiple shots..

The first monastic establishment was built in the 8th century. This church was built in 1020 by Benedictine monks.
