This is a view of Lake Erie shoreline just after takeoff from the Port Clinton, OH Airport.
The newly exposed beach is usually 4 to 6 feet underwater.
A strong wind from the Southwest well over 30 knots, causes the water in western Lake Erie to "blow out" toward Buffalo, NY.
