I agree with Steve -- this is an outstanding sunset Jeff -- I like your macro photos too -- very good variety in your collection here.

Thanks so much for the praise, Bruce. But sunsets like this just make my little "point 'n shoot" look better than its capabilities. This was, at least in my experience, the best, and longest sunset I think I've ever seen. I even got quite a bit of miniDV of it, too. About 85% of my pictures on Panoramio are shot while I am working, so I usually have to kind of sneak off real quick and get a few shots. I'll keep on the relentless pursuit, though! Thanks again Bruce.

I never have been to the Salton Sea area, but you sure captured it's amazing beauty. Really fantastic!

Thanks so much, Joan. It was indeed a very special day.

My mother owns an unincoporated lot right off Salton Sea. Whenever I go see with her, it never looks as nices as the in these pictures. I guess I could appreciate it more.

Thanks so much for that comment, Verahall. I've been to Salton Sea maybe five times. And this day was by far the best I've ever seen. It was right after a rain storm blew through that morning. These are the sunsets we all wish to capture on film just once. Thanks again, Jeff
