This is beautiful Ian, I must venture to this spot around April!

Thanks Fai, I just corrected the title which I never noticed before. This was taken in 2007 which was one of the best springs for magnolias in a long time! This year had lots of frost which ruins the flowers. Fingers crossed for next year!

Cheers, Ian

I see. You must tell me which park of the park I should (theoretically) go to in spring to see the most amazing displays! I know that part of the park is reknowned for the diverse variety of trees, but this one is a something out of the ordinary in my opinion.

Best wishes, Fai

You have very good taste Fai, these trees are native to the Himalaya and just about put up with our vauge weather! They flower late March to April and are truly remarkable! There are some close ups of the flowers on other pages, id do a link but have'nt learnt how. Ian

Thanks Ian, I will defiantely visit. It's a shame that it gets dark so early recently, I'd love to just have a walk after work like I can in the summer.

To do the link, you need to put the text you want to shot in square brackets [] and then have the link in parentheses () directly to the right of it.
