This was the Columbia Hospital for Women until recently. It was added on to and converted into $$$$ condos. The top floors go for $$$ millions.

It is in a great location....between Georgetown with all the shopping/restaurants and downtown...with business/White House/government etc. offices.

It's much more interesting, perhaps more expensive , to work with the existing architecture when its good instead of tearing buildings down.
