The last gorse bush standing in this small patch of Dartmoor (well, nearly). It's close to a watering hole frequently used by Dartmoor ponies - and they do like to nibble on fresh-growth gorse.
Maybe its height is what has kept this one going - it's too tall at its crown for the ponies to reach.
