It was actually me that built that! amazed to see it on google earth lol.I live outside of nedsville but right next to cycle track and was always getting shopping trolleys push down beside my house by shoppers from drylaw.i used to take the wheels of them and park them in the lane going into drylaw but then started hanging them on this post.idea was that it would turn public opinion against the adult s that woudl bring them along from safeways(then)and do somthing about their community as the trolley tree looked so damn ugly.alot of folk talked about this and even today if i tell someone it was me they are always suprise dbut know exactly what i meant by the 'trolley tree'!

Thanks, gussurvival. I thought it was rather enterprising, and deserving of national recognition. Edinburgh's Modern Tate? There is scope for a much larger 'sculpture'; It wouldn't take long to gather a large number of trolleys. I wonder if student Rag Week would be interested. Good to hear from you.
