This was one of the first Norman castles in Ireland and stands on a commanding hill above the little village and harbour where I grew up. The village is Dundrum ('Castle on a hill').

You will see from the gallery it is also one of my favourite places!!

In my teens this was one of our 'courting' spots :-) quiet and dark - happy days eh!
