This is the northwest corner of Lake Drummond as viewed from the pier at the end of Jericho Ditch. The autumn foliage was the most colorful along this part of Great Dismal Swamp. Along the ditch trails, things were a bit more "dismal" as the colors were a bit more dull and not as variant.

Very nice. Also enjoyed your shot of Bennett Place
The current Bennett Farm is actually a replica, reconstructed in the 1960's. Fire destroyed the original farmhouse and kitchen in 1921.
AMAZING capture, Wonderful framing and fantastic colours and reflections! Y* for my favourites for sure! Best wishes from England Samantha

I am a museum curator and I am working on an interpretive exhibit and a related article for our museum membership magazine on the Great Dismal Swamp. I would like to know if we can use one of your photographs of Lake Drummond. Do you have any others? We of course would include a credit line for use of your photograph. Please email me at Ktwmn1@gmail.com to discuss details. Many thanks.
I only have two photos of Lake Drummond right now, and both of them are posted on Panoramio. I'll contact you later regarding details when I have more free time. Thanks.
