Thanks Bruce - I'm honoured!

Instant yellow star! Powerful in the extreme, and made all the more special by the presence of tender little bird, and the perching person, who is far braver than me. That's quite an overhang! (On the rock, I mean, not the person) She appears to be gazing at the bird, it's a very special photo. You have some really fabulous shots in your gallery, Conrad!

Very best wishes, sue

Thanks again Sue - bird was pure happenstance. Appreciate the yellow star! And the comments re my gallery! I will be perusing yours later tonight, so be repared for an avalanche of comments with no poetic value!!!

Sue Allen on December 28, 2008

You had to get an avalanche in there somewhere, didn't you? As long as there really is an avalanche of comments and not a little misty patch of comments! :D:D:D

This really is a fantastic photo. The water must have been deafening!

I have to vacate the computer! Poor long suffering hubby wants to have a go on it...

Best wishes,

sue

Doesn't he have his own computer? My wife (on the overhang in this photo) gave up and got her own. Prior to that she often sat on cliff edges cursing me.

Oh and yes, it is quite noisy by these falls, but the worst part is keeping the mist away from your camera.

Golden ☆ + Best Of I can feel the power of the waterfall. But that lady who was sitting there....... I wouldn't try it.

At first, I thought it was Niagara Falls, Conrad.

that lady sitting there... I wouldn't try it

she won't (again) either -- right, Conrad? (discretion, please -- I... don't expect to live twice! ;-)
