The way I came at these shots (starting with the last-posted), I was surprised by the warmth of the interior as it was captured in this photo. Thanks for taking us on a lovely and leisurely visit of the chapel! Cheers, Marilyn

Greetings Marilyn and Kerstin, Thanks for visiting the Chapel on the Rock and commenting.

Marilyn - Your so welcome for the tour. I felt as though I had all the time in the world when I was in the sanctuary. The wood gave it a very warm feel while the stone made it feel like something out of a European mountain setting of ancient origins. It's a really neat place.

Kerstin - I don't know how old the chapel is, but it has been there as long as I can remember. I would go out on a limb and say at least 50 to 75 years old? That is assuming it was built before I was even around!
