Car Wreck, 1947 Volvo

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

It is unknown how this 1947 Volvo ended up in this remote canyon. For the many of you in this international community we call Panoramio, you have probably noticed the reckless behavior of "Americans". This recklessness is part of our strength and our charm that has spread globally. Unfortunately, this recklessness can also be an ugly sore. Everyone and every culture has a dark side. I ask you to forgive our reckless arrogance and remember how our recklessness has helped in desperate times. This photo is a classic example of what was likely reckless behavior but as time goes by, it has a strange beauty and mystique.

Wer hat es überlebt? Wie lange ist es her? Interessant, dass GoogleEarth die Stelle zu kennen scheint. Gruß gisela

And I thought Volvos were bulletproof ;). A lot of Aussies are just as crazy. Lk. Regards, Jock.

Hey Jock, you don't realize how good this Volvo looks in comparison to WHERE it has landed. :D
