The lock-up is situated in Ashby Road, LE65. It dates to the 18th century and is a listed building.

The single storey octagonal plan building is built from small red bricks. The pyramidal roof is also of brick with a stone ball finial. There is a stone string course between the walls and the roof. The round arched doorway has a studded wooden plank door with iron strap hinges.

A plaque on the door reads, ‘ The Countess of Loundoun Donated This Building To The Village of Packington By Deed of Gift In 1997’.
