Gulpha Gorge lies between Hot Springs and North Mountains on the west and Indian Mountain on the east. Part of it including the campground is within the boundaries of Hot Springs National Park.

Tomas, thanks for the comment. It is a great place. There are trails to hike and lots of places to explore in Hot Springs. We had to come home early because of a family situation. We will return next camping season.
I deleted your original comment because that version of this picture was not selected for Google Earth.
Have a nice day.

Hi, Diana. It's not huge compared to some of the other National Parks but it is huge to be inside a city. There are several miles of hiking trails.
Thanks for the visit.

Hi there Guy, what a great capture. It looks surprisingly like my area up here in the Great (and almost White) North. LIKE. Thanks for your visit and like. There's a series of nearly hidden pathways connecting some streets in that area of town, it was my first time exploring them and I was so pleased to get a few good pictures out of my adventure. You commented about winter "squashing" fall -- I understand the sentiment. I know many people who feel the same way. I actually really like the snow, although I do wish fall here would last just a little longer. Thanks again for the visit! Pleasure to hear from you as always. :) ~Ivy

Hi, Ivy. Pardon me for taking so long to respond. I'll bet if it was almost white on Nov. 12 it's solid white now. I don't mind the snow so much since I no longer have to go to work but I feel for my kids when it snows. One son drives 20 miles to his job and another has to walk a postal route in the weather... hot, cold, rain, snow, whatever. My daughter drives around 25 miles to work. But the snow is pretty to look at.
Stay warm.

Hi, Marion. I like roads and bridges and fences although I don't photograph as many as I would like to. I'm going to try to change that this summer with a trip through southern Utah. Thanks for liking this picture.
