Did they land in the Florida Keys ?

Jonathan Berry on November 27, 2007

It looks like they did! 9 hours to only get 500 metres through these mangroves, and under fire..

JLHernandez on November 27, 2007

That's because they did not know how to swim :-)

It certainly looks like the Florida Keys !

These swamps were very limited too, very close by, they diminish into clear beach. Not great for cover, but at least it would have been a clear run for cover.

THIS IS THE WRONG TITLE MESSAGE ! IT SHOULD READ : Granma Landing Point - Where Fidel Castro, his brother Raúl, and Ché Guevara landed to fuck up a rich and prosperous nation....A nation which in spite of the brutal dictator Batista had an enormous middle class and a thriving economy, which the above mentioned criminals destroyed....Only the ignorant fools believe that Cuba was a mafia playground.....I was there in 1958, and saw my nation destroyed by communism....

GRANMA LANDING POINT, WHERE A BAND OF CRIMINALS LED BY FIDEL CASTRO ARRIVED ON DECEMBER 2, 1956 TO BEGIN THE DESTRUCTION OF A NATION WHICH HAD A BRUTAL DICTATOR AT THE TIME, AND TRADED HIM FOR AN EVEN WORSE DICTATOR ! IN 1958 CUBA HAD THE SECOND HIGHEST LIVING STANDARD OF THE AMERICAS !
CUBA'S PESO WAS ONCE VALUED HIGHER THAN THE U.S. DOLLAR, AND CUBANS DID NOT HAVE TO IMMIGRATE. THAT WAS IN 1958....FROM 1959 TO 2010 OVER A MILLION CUBANS HAVE FLED COMMUNISM ! THOUSANDS HAVE DIED TRYING TO ESCAPE ! AND THE ONLY THING THESE LEFT WING HIPPIES CAN TELL YOU IS THAT CUBA WAS THE PLAYGROUND OF THE MAFIA ! LIARS ! CUBA WAS A RICH AND PROSPEROUS NATION, AND YOUR LIES WILL NEVER CHANGE THAT !
