Very clear composition, interesting angle/perspective, fascinating increased colours on the steel (I love this kind of night-blue and also this little green touch at 2 o´clock)! Congratulations and merry X-mas - Michael from Austria

Thanks Michael for your interest. Some explanations of this shot seems justified. When I took it, the incident light from the sun dominated the top third of the shot. As a result the color of the sky was heavily falsified by the way the CCD sensor reacts to an overdose of direct sunlight. To bring the blue back to a more natural hue I tweaked it in Photoshop. As a result there was an off-gamut distortion of the light being reflected off the sculpture. I decided to leave it there as the effect lent a bit of extra drama to the overall composition. I would also like to wish you a merry Christmas as well. Keep shooting!
