This image was captured about a half hour after the image I posted yesterday(see below). The sun had gone completely down behind the mountains to the southwest but was still busy producing a rainbow of color in the sky. The Shenandoah River can be seen as a bright spot through the Virginia Yellow Pine on the right. And the Skyline Drive runs along the top of the mountain tops in the far background. I am quite blessed to have a view like this so close to home. :)
