The Marienbruecke - the bridge from which many pictures of Neuschwanstein Castle are taken.
Hello,
again one of your spectacular fotos. It´s called the "Marienbrücke" and it is told that the famous bavarian King Ludwig II. had the idea for this construction from 1866 stretching over the Pöllath gorge and waterfalls. Can be highly recommended for people that do not suffer from vertigo.
It´s a pleasure to have a look in your foto album.
Best regards
Uli Metzner
Thank you for the information and your kind compliments. I knew of the Hungerkralle, but never knew its name, thank you.
I was very lucky to get the photos of the Luftbruecke operation. I was on my way to work when I saw it and went back home to get my camera. I think I have the only pictures of the operation.
I love photography and really appreciate when someone gets enjoyment from one of my pictures.
I have visited your gallery and really like your photos also, especially the beautiful shots of the Bayern architecture!
